It’s Registered Dietitian Day!

Celebrate National Nutrition Month by focusing on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits.

? My goal has always been to help people enjoy eating for better health. I’m passionate about getting the facts about food to you, so you can relax. I hate to see people waste time and money on unsound programs, unrealistic goals. Or worse, products that can actually harm them. ⁣Don’t fall for gimmicks – Chew the Facts®

✅Check in with a registered dietitian with your food or nutrition questions. Look for the RD or RDN credential. Many of us specialize and we cover a broad scope. As a writer, I do a lot of reading on many topics and stay on the pulse of new research and consumer topics. For instance, I have extensively studied nutrition in cardiovascular disease and the challenges of obesity.  I’ve also partnered with farmers and ranchers, and toured farms to learn more about modern agriculture. Of course, I also want to help you keep food facts in perspective.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist VS “Nutritionist”

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics makes it easy to find a dietitian near you. Click here and enter your zip code to find an RDN near you.

Remember, all registered dietitians are nutritionists but not all “nutritionists” are registered dietitians!
